You pointed out the saddest part.......the teachers are excellent and they want so badly to teach but the parents and the school structure/philosphy is failing. I am so sad that my kids don't get to play with their friends everyday at school. I wish so badly that the school was more successful for teachers and students. Since you love to teach maybe you should look into teaching college classes. If their requirement for parents to sign a "Commitment to Excellence" contract was required in public schools, you would have a much easier time with students.
